Certainly FC have put on plenty of non-white acts at Cropredy over the years, not this year perhaps but T&LaTouche, EII, Afro Celts, Osibisa. Musafir to name but a few. And Simon tells a story about jamming with Hendrix, and the band were signed to Island records for many years so who knows who they may have played with on an informal level. Oh yes, and a ooad of them played with Joan Armatrading. But, as to a guest on a UK tour, as opposed to a Cropredy walk on, I can't recall any. Blues has more in common with folk and celtic then Africa in my opinion. Listen to many of the classics. No poly rythm, clapping, western tuning, etc. So they have a variation of folk as well.
