Anyone know what it is? i.e. what's DVD-Audio when it's at home. Apart from track 15 (snigger), I've got everything that's on it, but am intrigued about this DVD Audio tag. CD will be around for a bit yet and I still buy vinyl every (well, most) weeks, the sound quality of vinyl is unsurpassed, although it's not very 'user friendly' to coin a 'buzzword' (yuk) Title: Re: Close to the Wind - DVD Audio??? Title: Re: Close to the Wind - DVD Audio??? Post by: jonmuse on January 23, 2007, 02:01:57 AM I have the above mentioned DVD-audio. All that was done to the recordings was lots of echo added to the rear (surround) speakers. It is almost impossible to make it sound good.
If you have surround sounds and want to experience DVD-audio track down Richards Rumour & Sigh. It was remixed to 5.1 and sounds great |
