I've been listening to it fairly regularly for about a month.  It's superb - in the same vein as the last one, but to these ears a little more wonderful, if such a thing could be possible....

It's been released for a few weeks now. I like it better than Fashionably Late. Highlights:

Whiskey, Bob Copper and Me - Eliza Carthy's voice sounds so right providing harmonies on this song.
Katy Cruel - Lovely rendition of this traditional song
Do Your Best For Rock and Roll - I like this despite the C&W twang - the guitar work makes it
Versatile Heart = everything in this track just clicks - it sounds like Dolly Parton providing backup vocals, but it it is, she's uncredited

Yep - just thought he might like a few more details.

Of course, most of the songs are "nice"  ;D ;)

I wasn't a big fan of 'Fashinably Late', but will give it a spin.

Did you like all Richard & Linda Thompson's albums?  Serious question - I can't understand how anybody that liked Richard & Linda's slower stuff (roughly 75% of it?) could fail to be anything bit a big fan of FL....but then again, I've heard this before so I'm obviously wrong.  No change there then...  ;)

I love the earlier albums, I will have to re-listen to FL to remember what is 'wrong' with it though!
Might be a job for tomorrow.
