Title: New Songs
Post by: Miguel Cajon (Mick) on October 17, 2006, 12:28:14 AM
Hi Peggy.

When a new song gets offered to the band, either by an outside writer or by someone from within the band, who makes the decision on whether you take it on or not? What happens if some of you like it but some of you don't? Do you ever find yourself playing songs you don't really like?

Cheers.

Mick

Mornin Mick. Well we're really lucky as most of us agree on what a "good song" is. Whether it works for us is determined by whether or not Simon or Chris can sing it with conviction. We will play the song through and you kinda know instantly if this is the case. For me if it's not that instant it's probably not a good idea to go much further with it. Good question and regards, peggy.
