Many years ago I had the pleasure of seeing Stephane Grappelli practcing sitting on a wall by the marina in the Cap d'Agde in the South of France. His playing moved me in a way I thought it wouldn't be possible to experience again and then I saw you play an intimate venue in Formby and I was agin captivated by the sound of the violin. This was probably nearly 15 years ago - and at half time they had sandwiches - Heinz Sandwich Spread sandwiches which I had not had before or have had since - anyway it was a first for me a gig with half time butties. What, if any, strange occurances remain in your memory from your distinguished career. Title: Re: Strange Gigs.
