Title: Irish fiddlers
Post by: irishenglish on February 02, 2008, 05:22:14 PM
Hi Swarb, what a pleasure to have you on here. I was wondering in all of your career if you have played formally or informally with any of the great Irish fiddle players. I might be wrong, and please tell me if I am, but I never seem to see your name dropped by Irish players as an influence. Only one I can think of for sure was Altan, although I am sure there are others. All my best, Robert

Swarb ,i owe you a huge apology, Des Donnelly was of course Desi Donnelly's uncle
i can only explain my rashness as being due to the fact i had been out at my brothers 50th birthday party
and due to the drink i wasnt thinking straight ::)
i promise never to to argue with you about fiddlers again :-X
