Title: Re: wooden effigy on back cover of liege and lief Post by: Swarb on February 28, 2008, 01:57:51 PM It was kind of mine, it really belonged to my wife of the time. and it came from a disused and derelict chapel,we discovered the chapel while walking in pembrokeshire where we lived at the time.to this day it hold, a significance thats hard to fathom and is a much loved object in her present home.

I used to spend ages studying the picture and wondering what it was and what its significance was. It really captivated me and still does! Glad to hear its still around! I wonder if it realises how famous it is? ;)
