Title: Angel Delight instrumental medley
Post by: Jules Gray on March 03, 2008, 11:40:14 AM
Hi Swarb

There's a cracking set of tunes on the Angel Delight album on which you (at least I think it's you) play a sprightly whistle.  And yet I've never heard you play one since.  Shame that, as I think you played a blinder!  Did you use to play the whistle a bit in your youth, or was that set of tunes a one-off?

Well I must say the results were impressive.  I wish you'd done more!

It's an underrated set of tunes that.  I really enjoy them.

thanks, been revisiting the first tune lately, I got it from a piccolo player name of John doonan, no longer with us, his family still play and i was talking to his son only a few months go.The tune is called "the sport of the chase."
