Other than the L&L album, did you recall what the other bigger selling albums were? Thanks, Pat Title: Re: FC Albums Post by: Swarb on March 04, 2008, 01:59:56 PM no, I have no idea which sold what.
Title: Re: FC Albums Post by: David W on March 04, 2008, 02:01:28 PM Didn't Angel Delight make the top 20 albums on release - not that that indocates numbers sold overall of course.

Yes I think Angel Delight did chart highest. The TOTP albums slot probably helped. Jules Title: Re: FC Albums Post by: Swarb on March 04, 2008, 02:46:11 PM thats a suprise!

Apparently DM did the TOTP slot wearing a T-shirt with the inscription "Miming"! Thor-Rune Title: Re: FC Albums Post by: Swarb on March 04, 2008, 03:29:11 PM that sounds like dm
Title: Re: FC Albums Post by: Jamie73 on March 04, 2008, 05:05:30 PM I read somewhere that Rising for The moon got in the low regions of the UK and US album charts? Would that be right? Dave Pegg said that he remembered huge posters for Rising over Sunset Boulevard.
Title: Re: FC Albums Post by: Swarb on March 04, 2008, 07:16:59 PM I remember the posters, dont recall if it got anywhere.

Yes I think Angel Delight did chart highest. The TOTP albums slot probably helped. Jules Would you believe me if I said that Fairports highest chart position in Norway was for Gottle o'geer? It's probably because "Rising..." did quite well in Norway and their concerts sold out in 1975. So people probably bought GO'G expecting another RFTM.
