Title: Noises off
Post by: Jules Gray on March 25, 2008, 09:09:54 AM
Hi Swarb

One of the things I've always loved about your playing and recordings is the vocal interjections that the microphone and/or pickup...uh...picks up from your voice.  I notice it's the same with Liza and other fiddle players.

Was it a shock when you realised that these 'noises off' could be heard by the audience and were, in some cases, preserved on record?  Or did you always know that you did that?

Well I think it's great.  It really adds another dimension to the performances.
