Title: From the desert: new Fotheringay article
Post by: colinrandall on December 18, 2008, 06:38:32 PM

When I alerted Talkawhile people to a competition at Salut! Live inspired by the release of Fotheringay 2 , or 2 by Fotheringay as you prefer, I promised to post a link once the National in Abu Dhabi had published a piece I was preparing on Jerry Donahue's admirable project to salvage the album. It finally appeared on Wednesday Dec 17. Here it is, as reproduced at my site (there's a link from there to The National website)...

Interesting article, thanks!

Who would have thought that Jerry D lived in Clitheroe!

I bet that causes some hilarity amongst his US friends (you should hear how a mid-western mate of mine pronounces it....)

The latest issue of Rock’n’Reel (Jan/Feb) also has an article about the background to Fotheringay 2.

It's an excellent read.
Agree with your hope of another CD of 'Fotheringay at The Beeb'
