I have a live recording of this album that was released in the 00's fruits of too many hours in used record stores, what was the story behind rerecording this classic album and are there other areas of your catalog you would like to revisit.

This was a favorite album of a dear friend of mine. He runs a music cafe in my home town. He suggested we do a weeks worth of shows at his place, featuring a live version of the album. I turned him down flat and then went home to think about it. eventually I decided it was a great idea and put together a band of choice Dutch musicians. We then persuaded an impressario to put book a theater tour. It was a natural extention of that to record a few nights. We actually filmed two nights also, but decided against spending the money on manufacturing a DVD.
I think the live version is as good, if not better, than the original studio album.
