Title: Full Moon with Jerry D Post by: fstix (Michael) on April 26, 2010, 06:00:42 AM I'm presently helping Jerry Donahue uncover a few old tracks he plays on. One has me stumped though - a version of 'Full Moon'. He says:

Sandy and Trev had a subsequent opportunity to feature Acker Bilk on the album, and asked me if, since I already played the most solo bits of anyone on the sessions, would I mind if they replaced the one I'd done on Full Moon with his clarinet. It may or may not even still exist on the master reels but might have made it into circulation on an early rough mix for reference purposes." I just checked and it's not the version on the first Attic Tracks tape either. Anyone know of this version? Might it even be on this next Sandy box...? I just hope JD doesn't do more overdubbing on this, but just lets it see the light of day..... btw - JD and Doug Morter have a tour upcoming later in the year. I'm also trying to find an agent to bring the Gathering to Australia for Jerry - or failing that, the duo with Doug M. I have to try my best; he's offered the support to the band I manage, Spiral Dance www.spiraldance.com.au :) Over to the Sandy Denny list I go..... Its this original version of Full Moon that Jerry did the solo on and so far it hasnt come out, but I hope to release it on the boxset. No mention of overdubbing or otherwise!
