Title: Here's one for you... Post by: Pugwash on June 13, 2010, 11:53:28 AM Saw Benny Gallagher (older viewers will recall Gallagher and Lyle) at Southwell Folk Fest yesterday.
Heard lots of stuff that had been recorded by others, actually quite an impressive line up. It included the our celebrated Boys from Oxfordshire. I thought a trawl through the songbook would reveal which one(s?) but Ames drew a blank so I went through all the albums I could find in 20 mins or so including most of the solo ones, but to no avail. Am I missing something very obvious or is it one covered once at Crop (I've not done the anniversary albums or boxes)? Here you are peeps an opportunity to establish super Fairport fan status!! Technically not a "Fairport Convention" album, though, as it is credited to just "Fairport". Title: Re: Here's one for you... Post by: Shane (Skirky) on June 13, 2010, 12:23:57 PM *spontaneous round of applause* [;-)
