What's your favourite tipple to have alongside you at a gig?

Thats nice to hear. I have trouble at beer festivals finding stuff inder 5%. One of our local micros has started doing a brew called small beer its 2.8% and tastes great.

I'm the same - can't be doing with beer you have to carve or chew.

For a gig a good session ale is what you need - round about 3.8%, this is where Big Session scores, plenty of choice!

Unfortunately at most gig venues its cooking lager or 'smooth flow' bitter (shudder), so I usually settle for a Guiness.
