Title: Yoghurt Post by: Nick on June 17, 2011, 02:13:30 PM Ok, sorry about this but another question taken from your radio show chatter...
So you don't like yoghurt eh? What other foodstuffs are you wary of? And why? And while we're here, what can you not get enough of? Cheers Nick Title: Re: Yoghurt Post by: djmahone on June 18, 2011, 10:25:51 AM Yoghurt wasn't really available when I was a kid and the first time a friend of mine was having a Ski tub I dipped my finger in to try it and realised it was like milk that had gone off. AND IT STILL IS. Why eat stuff that tastes like something that has gone off when there are lots of things to eat that taste nice. It is a complete no brainer.
I also can't stand sea food. Crab, lobster, langoustines...vile. All that cracking razor shells and oysters and the like to suck something disgusting and rubbery tasting of salt water out of the middle...well...maybe in times of acute famine...but not for £50 a head courtesy of Rick Stein. Madness. I also can't stand olives. Utterly foul. Other than that, I'm up for anything. I'm particularly partial to a great curry - always lamb, never chicken - and samba usually hits the spot. Anything cheese related of course - hmmm.,....been a long time since I had the fondue set out...where did I put that kirsch? Can't have drunk that as well surely................. "Oysters - like licking phlegm from a tortoise". Title: Re: Yoghurt Post by: Bridgwit (Bridget) on June 18, 2011, 11:29:08 PM Funnily enough I had my first ever oyster tonight.
Totally underwhelmed. Chilli snot IMHO. Will be sticking to sausages :) |
