Title: Closing Time Post by: mickf on March 01, 2012, 10:06:11 AM I've always enjoyed Fairport's version of Leonard Cohen's 'Closing Time' which first appeared on the 'Jewel in the Crown' album. My one disappointment is that I've never heard them do it live. Even when they toured after the album was released they didn't do it when I saw them.

The Clive & Christine version live with the mid-80s R.T. Band. Just sublime. I also recall "Closing Time" being performed live quite regularly, for a while.
