My birthday is about seven weeks after Dave's (same year - 1947), so I have no problem remembering how old he is. Title: Re: Peggy's birthday bash Post by: RobertD on May 15, 2012, 10:16:09 PM Booked, row C. I'll see if I can leave the pub earlier this time ::) Addie I am shocked.....late for a Fairport related gig due to staying longer at the pub? Why, I am apalled sir! ;D Somebody I met at Cropredy told me a story last year about a group of people hanging out at a pub near the Fairport gig in Edinburgh. One of their group was getting a little antsy and said..um gig is starting now, shouldn't we be heading over. To which they pointed to a certain Mr. Nicol standing nearby and said, we don't need to worry until we see that man heading for the door! I'm sure you lot have similar stories as well Title: Re: Peggy's birthday bash Post by: Addie on May 15, 2012, 10:23:45 PM Yes, Stafford in March.

Title: Re: Peggy's birthday bash Post by: Andy Tuck on May 15, 2012, 11:56:43 PM Just had a look, no standing. Are these seats the standard theatre legroom? If so don't think I'll bother.
Title: Re: Peggy's birthday bash Post by: AdrianW on May 16, 2012, 02:11:31 AM The seats and space do seem better than in most venues (and the seats are apparently acoustically like a person).
You do get more legroom at the front of the stalls (still only half of row A sold) but may get a crick in your neck. Phone the box office and ask about seats with legroom?
