Even though it's on my fan blog about The dB's, I am also a huge SD fan. The link between the two is Peter Holsapple, who organized the whole 1998 tribute concert. He's one of the leaders of The dB's (which have re-formed after a 20-year hiatus, by the way). One more SD connection: Peter was in a great band called The Continental Drifters. For my money, they recorded some of the best Sandy and Fairport/Richard Thompson covers I've ever heard on their album called "Listen Listen."
