Spotted in Sainsbury's this morning - for just £3 "Meet On The Ledge - The Collection" (UMG) 18 tracks -all bar one of which are (or appear to be) taken from the Island albums: Come All Ye MOTL WKWTTG She Moves Through The Fair Matty Groves Si Tu Dois Partir Farewell, Farewell Big William Now Be Thankful (BBC session - presumably previously released on the Live at the BBC set?) Bonny Black Hare Angel Delight Wizard Of The Worldly Game John Lee Breakfast in Mayfair A Sailor's Life Rosie Rising For The Moon Cropredy Capers A couple of interesting selections there (Big William, Cropredy Capers), but not a bad balance (IMO) between the more "commercial" songs that should engage a casual buyer & a few of the more "classic" pieces from the repertoire. Quite a decent booklet with notes from Rob Young and some nice photos too. All in all, a more than reasonable introduction... (Good colour pic of the AD/JBL lineup on the front - pity the big red £3 sticker was right over Peggy's head). ::) Title: Re: Yet another compilation...
