It's currently the 'most devoid of any content', although it was not particularly damaged in the floods, Sid is taking the opportunity to bring forward his refit; so don't bother visiting for the next couple of months! Did you manage to get back in? :) My interview was bang smack in the middle of the very scary flash flood. Escaped, literally at the last moment, up rock strewn waterfalls that used to be roads, in a tiny little Aygo with clutch smoking and wheels spinning up onto the Keighley road. Keighley has never appeared so welcome! Felt like the last chopper out of Saigon. The Tod road was under about 2ft of water. I was so peed off I left my Rav-4 in Bacup, but even that would have struggled! Should find out about the job today. Am still in London village, the roads should (hopefully) be clear by the time I get home. I rang Denise last night and she was pretty freaked out by it. Unfortunately because of her broken foot she could not go down into town to help with the clear up. This must be a kick in the head for the shop owners who managed to get back in business, the owners of Yorkshire Soap worked all through the night after the last one to make sure they could open - and then this happens. |
