Title: Fiddlestix fanzine
Post by: JohnH on July 30, 2012, 12:18:20 PM
Hi all,
Looking through a box of gubbins I found a pile of back issues of Fiddlestix, the Australian Friends of Fairport magazine. They are a really great read, put together by Michael Hunter, and quite similar to The Ledge magazine. Packed with interesting stuff, and made me nostalgic for a bygone era of fanzines! I particularly like the reproductions of concert posters used on the back covers. I've put a couple of examples up here:

(Can't work out how to put actual images on this post.)

If anyone would like the magazines (I've got about 11 issues from 1996-1999) I'd be willing to pass them on to someone, in exchange for a donation to a suitable charity.

John

I appreciate the comments, and approve of the idea!  :)  F'stix still exists as an occasional email newsletter thingy, too.
