I was being subjective David, i'm afraid. It is indeed a nice place, but as a non-driver it'd take me half a day to get there.

As has the Sage, but it's notably absent here.

intimate? No? Alnwick Playhouse? Yes.....no contest, I think you'll find.

Perhaps the Playhouse was unavailable when he played the Sage?

Can't make the Wirral unfortunately, I'm in another inaccessible place called Ushaw. And I don't drive either.

I spotted that yesterday too.....acts are sworn to secrecy until they release each stage line-up....so unlikely. And too late to get a ticket anyway.

Ralph put out an email overnight stating tickets were on sale for the autumn dates - well, London's Cadogan Hall certainly is, but not all, including Truro & Didcot. I guess there may be friends schemes getting first dibs in both cases.

If people can post here if they find them not on sale?....we can keep an eye open for on sale dates.

Update - Appearance cancelled due to hand injury.

A message from Ralph:

"Today I am free from the dressing on my hand and apart from not having much of a finger nail on my left hand little finger, I am fine. I played a little earlier today and I know that barring mishaps I will be good to go for Ireland, the John Renbourn Memorial Concert, Hall for Cornwall Truro and the rest of the tour which I am looking forward to immensely. All is now well and I expect to be fully better by the weekend and picking away as always. This is the longest time I have spent without playing guitar for a very long time and I am longing to get back. For South West friends I may have a short appearance on BBCSpotlight on the early evening news about the legendary FOLK COTTAGE (50 years ago)
All the best to everyone."
