Title: RT - Additional Verse for "Fergus Laing"
Post by: samnitzberg (Sam) on October 18, 2016, 06:45:21 PM
From RT's facebook page today:
" I'm running out of chances to play my song 'Fergus Laing' - soon it will be, I imagine, redundant. Here's an added verse and chorus to bring it a little more up to date:

Fergus Laing is a gentleman
His manners are uncanny
Respectfully he shakes your hand
While the other hand grabs your fanny
At beauty pageants, he's a saint
Half-dressed contestants scream and faint
When he comes backstage - 'cause shy, he ain't -
And says, Hey, nice chassis!

Fergus Laing loves our servicemen
How eloquent he waxes
Soldiers, cops, he loves them all
But does he pay his taxes?

'Fanny' means something in the UK anatomically 6 inches away from the US meaning! "

Whereas the US version of fanny is another five-letter word beloved of presidential candidates...

Another closely-related synonym is often used to describe one of the presidential candidates.
