Title: Bit of healthy exercise Post by: Jane Skudder on July 19, 2017, 12:35:47 PM Since an 11am start to a run is a bit warm for me on a, hopefully, lovely August day I'm hoping to get to Banbury in time for the parkrun on Saturday 12th. The buses look like they would only get me to the park with 4 minutes to spare (I'm not a fast runner...) so it looks like we'll need to drive. To avoid lots of cars heading off the field just when folk are waking up/queuing for loos/kids are running about I wonder if people would like to look at car-sharing to get to the park in time for the run. Reckon we'd need to set off about 8-8:15 to be there for 8:45...Anyone interested?
Title: Re: Bit of healthy exercise Post by: PaulT on July 24, 2017, 02:06:45 PM Hi Jane - a few of us go for a run/jog on the Friday at Cropredy (see the Trotawhile 10k thread); although we say 10k, there's usually a shorter option (c 5k) round the lanes north of the village - there definitely will be this year, as I'm cutting right back on the miles before a big race.
You're very welcome to join us! Title: Re: Bit of healthy exercise Post by: PaulT on July 24, 2017, 02:08:33 PM 9am on the Friday, opposite the Bridge Stores!
Title: Re: Bit of healthy exercise Post by: Jane Skudder on July 28, 2017, 10:41:28 PM Thanks Tony - we shall bear that in mind if we can't get to the parkrun. I'm currently in the mid 90s for parkruns so I'm working towards a free t-shirt for my 100th...Isn't it amazing what runners will do for a free t-shirt...

;) :) Title: Re: Bit of healthy exercise Post by: Jane Skudder on August 06, 2017, 07:29:45 PM Oops. I'd like to blame the Medoc for that lapse, Paul....
