Title: What NOT to take to Crop Post by: Pugwash on July 11, 2018, 08:54:55 AM Over the years the stuff we drag on to the field has diminished as Ames’ Sherpa skills have reduced. I, of course, supervise. Compared with our family visits I think these have gone:
Groundsheet, flag, vast quantities of food and drink, lanterns, sticks to hang lanterns from, hammer, binoculars, video camera, tripod and tons of assorted other stuff. Can’t think why we thought we needed it. What are you not taking this year? Ps this is a sort of anti-what do I need to take to Crop that appears annually... Title: Re: What NOT to take to Crop Post by: Bridgwit (Bridget) on July 11, 2018, 11:34:02 AM We've gone from a family-sized Qashquai to a Mini Countryman so we're very restricted on what we can take.
I suspect the 2nd table will be left at home. And the cold box (the milk went off last year so no point). And extra shoes. And maybe the rug, although it's useful for keeping the inner tent dry if it rains. Alternatively, we might hire a roof box and take extra stuff!!! All the stuff ;D ;D Title: Re: What NOT to take to Crop Post by: colin h on July 11, 2018, 12:13:19 PM I recall the Rhythm Festival years ago at Twinwood airfield specifically banned anti-tank weapons, so I always leave them at home.

One year I saw three people, all with cats on leads. Although it was pointed out to me that what I actually saw was one person and one cat, three times, and I can't rule that out. But even so............
