Title: Field 8 Post by: Adam on August 13, 2018, 01:11:33 PM Visited some friends on this field as the heavens opened, and it felt like a separate festival! Did anyone stay on this field, and what did you think?

Last year was our first FCC and we opted for Field 8 when the option came up as we have to travel up from Devon and it made sense to arrive on the Wednesday to get set up. We met some nice people so we met up there this year too. I can't directly compare with the other fileds as I don't know them, but from observation it IS different! There is a good bar(cheaper than the Arena one) and they do food, and there is a marquee with live music - it is almost a fringe event.
The downside is that it is a bit of a walk to the Arena so popping back to the tent is a mission, including walking up School Lane with vehicles using it all the time. |
