The new album now seems to have the title Sense of Occasion according the the "official" fc site. Songs from Chris, Pete Scrowther et al.

Hmm, not sure about the name but certainly better than Over The Next Hill which I thought was a rotten title for a fairly decent ablum.

Well the title seems guaranteed not to broaden their fanbase - in fact it positively ages the band. Sounds like the latest release from Noel Coward.

Oh dear...I'm inclined to agree with Keith...let's just hope it's a 'working title'.

I really don't like saying this, but I have a horrible feeling I know exactly what it sounds like already.  And I don't like thinking that about albums from this lot.

Let's hope I'm eating humble pie when their hip hop album "Yo! Bum, Rush the Brasenose" rushes up the charts next year... Wink

Still time to change it, unless they've already had the CD sleeves & promotional material printed.

Maybe to bring it up to date they could change it to Fiddy Sense of Occasion .... could be the "mystery guest" they were looking for?

I'm sorry, my daughter isn't coming out tonight.

I understand that Mojo has the 27th January as the release date so it looks as if changing it at this stage is a non-starter.

It's also the date given on the Wintour dates flyer. That's the title, alright.

Why do I always want to learn guitar in August?

It's also what Simon mentioned during the phone-in interview on Radio Caroline.

I can't remember if its before or after he had to break off to answer the doorbell.  Grin

Peggy once said something like (paraphrase): "RT and James Taylor have been making the same album for 20 years, but I'm always the the first in line to buy it." I feel the same way about FC.
