Hi,

I had the pleasure of seeing FC and Fairportfriends open for Tull in 87/88. (or somewhere around that time. Both were at the SF civic center. The next time was the concord pavilion, my 1st tull show was the under wraps tour)  I seem to remember a acoustic section with a unreleased instrumental. I think Fat man was one of the songs played during the acoustic section. I'm fairly sure you were playing a mandolin.  Was there a instrumental and is it available on cd? I remember liking it and wonder if it was just my imagination.

Did you have a  favorite Tull song to play?

Hi, I imagine it was Ian and Martin playing mandos on "Fat man" I would have played acoustic bass and Doane bongos. "Black sunday" was one of my faves and I got to do harmony vocals to Ian on a song that kicked along at an alarming pace. The instrumental bits were treacherous too!! Regards Dave.
