Jill states that she'll be selling prints as well, Dave - they'll be cheaper.

Blimey, that is fantastic, well done Jill! Knocks Ron Wood's efforts into a cocked hat if you ask me.

Pity I can only afford prints, I suspect this series will be worth a few bob one day

Blimey, thankyou for such lovely comments! Gosh, cor and wowee.

Thank you to Jude for the original announcement X

I'm pleased to say that the 'RT & Simon' painting sold yesterday.

This is blatant advertising, so please feel free to tell me off if I'm in the wrong place...?
I have full colour A1 & A2 prints (giclee) of the painting available from my website as from today.
www.jillswarbrick-banks.co.uk

I'm near completion on the next one of the series #2 which is another double portrait, this time: Ashley & Chris While.
I've been working on this whole project since last December, plus other commissions and bits and bobs inbetween. Oil painting, its all about layers and gradually, gradually building up the image. Therefore, it can take a fair old while. Especially skin tones...but I won't bore you... Lips Sealed
But, that's what is so magical about it, I think!

I'm off roadying for Swarb & Martin C on their september tour around the country from now onwards, so if you're around, do come up to the merch stall and say hello to the poor neglected wastrel selling the cds!  Wink

Now to find me thermals...

Jill
