I think the seller (presumably the raffle winner?) has an ever so slightly inflated view of the value of Folk-Rock signatures....

Especially as it appears to have been played .... and DM's autograph appears somewhat faded.  Maybe his wife has said "get rid of that tatty old thing" he's said "I'll put it up on ebay" and can then go back as say "sorry dear, didn't sell ..."

Feedback of zero doesn't inspire confidence either.

I don't have any problem with someone winning something from a charity auction and then trying to sell it for profit (it's theirs to do with as they want) afterwards, but putting something that is worth a hundred and fifty quid-ish (max) for a buy it now of a couple of grand does rather amuse me.

I think it's safe to say they won't sell it...

Despite the fact that it appeals to me (and no doubt to lots of us here) the Seller does appear to overestimate the rarity and value of the signatures. I suspect that most of the signatories would give their autographs if asked and even a cheque made payable to "Cash" for £2000 signed by them would struggle to reach that price!

To be honest, I don't see the point of buying something with signatures on anyway. It's different when you buy something at a gig, and then ask the artist to sign it. It feels special then.

Do you think there's a chance that bloke from eBay might win it and try and flog it for £2000?

Be careful because the cost of sending it to someone remote could be more than the tickets they've bought. Because its such a good cause, I'll have a few on the basis you could deliver it at Cropredy or similar.
