I can't locate my copy of the Rumour & Sigh Album, and I was wondering if there is any reference to the tune played at the end of Don't sit on my Jimmy Shands in the cover notes or elsewhere - which I now know is called "Pet of the Pipers". Did the RT Band ever play this live with a JK line up?

I've checked in the cd booklet and can't see any mention of what that tune is. On his website under Fan Questions it gives the email info@richardthompson-music.com so you could try dropping him a line.

Thanks. The RT Band played Don't Sit on my Jimmy Shands at the London Palladium 03/11/1991 with this line up,

Richard Thompson       guitar/vocals
Clive Gregson              guitar/keyboards/vocals
Pat Donaldson              bass
John Kirkpatrick           accordion
Shawn Colvin               vocals
Dave Mattacks              drums

It was played as per the record, plus another couple of tunes on the end.

I can hear the very uncomfortable Palladium seats creaking in my recording!!!
