Hi Swarb

I've just got my copy of Fairport unConventional (I'm playing big time catch up) and have just been reading the book that comes with it. Nigel Schofield mentions that Fairport has included 2 Morris dancers, one of which being Chris Leslie, but he did not name the other. Do you have any idea who it was?

Cheers

Ollie

I think Ashley may have done a little Morrising with the Albions and/or the Morris On Band.

I never saw the Morris On Band & never saw AH dance with the Albions either, but I have a vague recollection of him dancing - perhaps it was part of the Cecil Sharp solo show many moons ago... when the interval consisted of Ashley (as CS) pretending to doze off in his chair centre-stage.
