I gather you have the song list pretty much set for the new album. Did you have any songs in mind when preliminary discussions began? Or did you plan to write some songs together during the recording process? Did you tap Pete Scrowther for more songs, or will this be entirely a group effort?

Was there any kind of general theme planned for the album, or was it more a case of "play us your songs, if we like them we'll include them"?

Is there a title for the album yet?  Smiley

Hi Bob
We are very nearly there with material for the album. We have contributions from Pete Scrowther,Steve Knightly and Penny Sykes. Myself, PJ and Mark have all written for the album and there are two trad songs on there as well.Myself and Guy have yet to put our heads together and come up with the tunes but that's just about being in the same place at the same time and won't take long.
Working title is 'Tounament of Shadows' which is great song by Pete and a monitor mix can be heard on You tube.Little Johnny England/Shadows
We are all really pleased with everything so far.
Cheers GT

Penny Sykes ... I'm not familiar with that name, and google isn't helping. Can you tell me anything about her? any relation to Miranda?

Yep it's her Mum! Not really a performer on the same level as MS but it's a great song!

Tournament of Shadows is classic LJE - I've yet to hear a Scrowther tune I haven't liked. Time to search out his little corner of the web I think ...  Smiley
