yes I have done and it's ok if you're on high ground and away from things. why people wd camp nxt to the john peel stage I don't know - it is grim, grim, grim. up by the partk is ok but a long way out.
this year I stayed at a pub in street for some of it and had a tent out beyond the dance village too - it was okay in terms of facilities and pitch but bloody noisy. I'm too old to do much of that but the kids wanted to camp so a compromise was reached. I absolutely refuse to pay £2500 for a weekend tipi - robbery.
