Just heard the sad news that Würzel, who was once a guitarist with Motörhead, has died. A cheerful and friendly guy who recorded with the Fairports in the mid 80's on the song "Quazi Be Goode" - a Jon Benns reworking of Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode".

RIP Wurzel.
Such a nice guy, we knew him well, we lived in the same house at one point, and remember how chuffed he was to get the Motorhead gig.

I think that Wurzel was the first Motorhead guitarist I was aware of...

Slightly off topic, "Lemmy: The Movie" is on BBC4 next Friday.
