I'm not sure if I am allowed to advertise here but I thought it might be of interest. I have fourteen 2" studio 24-track analogue tapes of Fairport Convention from Woodworm Studio from the late 1980s to early 2000s.
I acquired these from the (then owner) who bought Woodworm studio from Dave Pegg in 2004. I know the tapes do not play, as at the time I tried to transfer them to digital in the studio but they just gummed the tape machine up.
Most box’s have a handwritten sheet with the recording information on - showing the song, which instrument/microphone is recorded on each of the 24 channels, effects/Dolby etc. A few of them also have handwritten lyric sheets/chord layouts, structures etc.
