Earlier today, I was leafing through a dictionary in search of interesting words. I stumbled upon an entry for "Nicol prism" and thought, hey, maybe there's more information about that sort of prism online. On the Wikipedia page about Nicol prisms, I noticed a reference to Glan-Thompson prisms.
