Wow! That's such exciting news. It must be 38 years (sorry) since your last collaboration?

Hi,
I downloaded the three segments of songs. I liked the song summer gathers the most. Rivers flow has a very 60's feel. I think Judy's voice needs to be a bit more forward. The Star crazy song has a newer more electronic sound ( more like Enja) . Very eclectic.   How many more tracks?  Hope all is well

How interesting - Word Magazine has a feature this month on some lady singer who hasn't made a record for 35 years...yes, it's Vashti Bunyan...and on the next page there's an article by one Jude Rogers, who is clearly a Fairport fan...put the two together and well, have you thought of giving them a call? Looks like you're right up their boulevard.  Grin

news news news!!!

I'm telling you all first before it goes up on my website (probably early next week) that Talking Elephant will be releasing the next two (!!!)  CDs

The first one 'SPINDLE' will be released on my birthday, 13th February 2006 (I shall be ancient

The second one 'WHORL' will be later in the year

Both the CD's are co written (except for 2 tracks) and brilliantly produced by Marc Swordfish of Astralasia (again) and all of his newly reformed Astralasia play on it.

As do Robert Fripp, James Asher, Doc Mahone, and Simon House

We have done an extraordinary trancy dancy stomping version of 'See Emily Play' which Talking Elephant are considering releasing as a radio single. (I hope they do. I really hope they do)

As well as the two CDs a Special Edition vinyl copy of the albums will be released in the Spring. This will really be something special, but more news on this later (just to keep you guessing!).

Thankyou to all of my 'listening ears' for encouraging me  Kiss

Hurrah. Good news, Jude. Champagne and egg sarnies for tea Grin

I have had the privilege to be amongst Jude's 'listening ears' and can thoroughly recommend them. 'Emily' is amazing and is indeed trancy dancy (maybe we will have the first ever dance tent at Cropredy in our awning next year to celebrate it).

Roll on February.

My website is now updated with the new news plus a bit more news that's even newer (and different and even more obscure) news..

www.judydyble.com

D'you know what's really strange?

Not being Judy Dyble for 35 years and now answering to it again.

That's a really weird thing  Shocked

Right then. Here it is

new updated front page with details and clips from the new CD 'Spindle'

I hope all the links work. Please let me know if they don't

The lovely Doc Mahone features on 'Fingest'

The equally lovely Robert Fripp features on 'Shining'

James Asher features on 'Honeysweet'

And 'Final Hour' is a bit daft..

Apparently there is a slight delay with availability of the CD but it shouldn't be long

Right then

off we go.

And I would actually like to know where this information has come from because it is more than I know and as such should be confidential between myself,  my record company, and my publicist.

And I would like to have a word with whoever it is
