HI , just rang the Sage at Gateshead - only date really up north to be told they do not know when tickets go on sale but to maybe try in January!!! Maybe not wait that long me thinks!!!

Quite possibly - The Sage have short lead-ins on their tickets which generally only go on sale a month or so in advance.

Ring 'em back & ask to be put on their mailing list....that way, you'll find out in plenty of time.

All hail the East Midland Sea..... Newark, Lincoln, Skegness and, not too far away our favourite Chesterfield.

I tell you the Blackpig will have a merry voyage this winter.

Hi Jen,   Unfortunately in 2006 the Northampton gig will be on a Monday evening, unlike last time which was on a Saturday. Being a weekday, it will be more difficult for people to travel for a major gathering in Nuthouse's parish.
Perhaps somebody can come up with an alternative suggestion for a gathering ? Blackpool in February anyone ?

However...... if anyone who is going to be in Northampton especially during the day, let me know

I will be having the day off to have a beer or two down the Malt Shovel and it would be great to see some familiar (and new) faces.

Chris , you seem to have missed the point, as nice a place as Scarborough undoubtedly is, the gathering in question would take place prior to a FC winter tour gig and unless I'm mistaken, Scarborough is not on the winter tour itinerary in 2006.

Glad you said that, not me, any Lincolnshire folk in ?  Cool

Ideally the gathering would be on a Saturday, this would enable people to travel and possibly stay overnight.

Choices therefore would be;
4th Feb.Tunbridge Wells,
11th Feb.Cambridge,  (with Ashley's Rainbow Chasers) !
18th Feb. Norwich,
25th Feb.Gateshead,
4th March Skegness.

Or any alternative suggestions.  I'm looking for help here, AmyJen, Puggs, Nuthouse, Nick, Anji, Jude, Gower Flower, JJ, Mic, Big Dave,Folkie, forgive me if i've forgotten anyone, any thoughts or ideas ?

Could I just say, I would like to thank everybody who has taken the time and effort to travel to Brum & Wolverhampton to see FC and has had the mis-fortune to meet up with me, I have taken the decision not to drive any more (basically don't need a car on a day to day basis) now, bearing this decsion in mind if I do travel to a gig, then one of you very nice people may find that you will be having the demented dwarf as a house guest (but I don't take up much room)

I did apologise in advance to the folks who's names I'd missed of the quickly formulated list. So let me apologise once more and invite everyone to come forward with their suggestions.

The Cambridge gig would have been the best for us.. but as it's the day after our travellers return I think we'll be at home with them...  unless they don't want to be with us that is.....

The 18th we have a gig at Farnsfield...  Tunbridge Wells is ion my birthday... never been there.. will have to check the road atlas...  Gateshead's just up the road from us.. so a possibility.. but I suspect too far for most .....  Skeggy is the best option for us geographically...  but it's **** in the summer let alone in the winter....!!!! (With apologies to any Skeggyans.. but it is!!)..  But at least I'd get to see the sea!!!

Thanks for your thoughts AmyJen, any of the locations is fine by me, a good opportunity to travel to somewhere different, meet up with some pals....and ... get to see FC to boot.
