I got talking to RT's road manager at Ascott on Friday & mentioned the award from this board. After he discussed it with RT, he didn't see a problem (RT had heard about it but wasn't quite sure what the detail was), but did ask us to approach RT directly through his overall manager, Tim Bernett in the USA with all such details.
Everyone happy that I do this? I thinkl Adrian is on his hols & won't get to read this. I'm almost certain to be there & can call his mobile in advance if needs must.

I will be presenting Mike Harding with his Good Egg Folkie Award at Cambridge next weekend. Specific time still to be agreed, but any TW'ers in attendance will be welcome to help make the area look busy.
Let me know when David.......

I'm having a week's absence from holiday this week, but will be away and largely uncontactable from the weekend. There appears to be a degree of confusion here. I've had an email discussion with RT (or at least somebody writing over his signature), copied to TB, with the result that I'm supposed to track RT down at Wickham and pass the Hancock over a cup of something. The opening email to the Beekeeper had a fair amount of background information. If Chris makes alternative, preferably more public, arrangements, he'll have to find me at Wickham and prize the Hancock away.

I thought you were already on your hols, Adrian - I apologise for not putting thast in my post.
I have no intention of going over your head, and what we agreed by private email still stands! As I thought you were on holiday, and unable to do as RT / Simon Tassano requested (they may not be aware that TB was copied into your correspondence), I posted their request here to see if anyone knew more. You did, and posted.
As you have corresp[ondence already from RT, I'll drop it. No harm done.

Who's going to Towersey?
Eliza & the Ratcatchers are playing there.
They still need awarding to.
Claudie, Anji's put your name down so far. If you can do it let me know. Otherwise if anyone else can/wants to present this please get in touch!
Cheers
Nick

I was on holiday last week (The Wickerman), am back this, then away again.
I've no problem with Chris sticking an oar in to check that arrangements are in hand for RT to get his Hancock at Wickham. The important thing is that he gets it, not who gives it.
Furthermore, as I was cowardly and arranged a private presentation, I've no objection to Chris arranging and performing a public one, other than my selfish wish to meet RT.

Not intending to change anything already organised by Adrian either - just checking that everything was AOK for Adrian at Wickham.

The majority of what RT wants needs to be about the awards, rather than the board....

It's ok Colin, Catch Of The Day is riddled with SQL errors, so no-one will notice the delay until it's fixed...

The rain seems to follow him around about 12 hours behind, these days....
So expect rain on Monday morning - he's playing cricket on Sunday...

I'll get my pic of Mike Harding up as soon as I can.
And it was lunchtime on the day that RT played Cambridge - and the sun shone all the way through..............

My thanks to Chris for not only taking the photo and hiding my paunch, but also organising the meeting via Simon (RT's sound man). I doubt that I would have succeeded in catching him otherwise.
