Cheltenham for Mr And Mrs Lysander, see you there Tony Do you mean Tewkesbury, Nigel?....I can't see a Cheltenham date? just got our tickets for the theatre by the lake keswick Eh? I assume that's on the acoustic tour later in the year - can you tell us what the date is please? I'm likely to be found at Tewkesbury, High Wycombe, Milton Keynes, Leamington, Chesterfield, Gateshead & Oxford. I'm possibly looking at a couple more, to average two a week.

As usual there nowhere by me. So sod em
Nicely put, Randle GF who is going to CAMBRIDGE of all places. Which confirms my suspicion that I am BARKING. Not at all GF; you should spend the afternoon in Cambridge city centre, have a look around the world famous Colleges, don't forget people come from across the globe just to see what you will see. Then have something to eat in the great noodle bar which is located just round the corner from the Mill pub on the river- 10 minutes walk from the the Corn Exchange, followed by a couple of pints in the Eagle, a world famous and very atmospheric pub just spitting distance from the Corn Exchange. I saw the chaps at that venue last year-it's small enough to be intimate but also very comfortable with a choice of sitting upstairs or standing downstairs near the stage. Look,in Norwich this morning I met a truck driver from Cross Hands, (small village in South Wales for the non-Welsh) who had thought of nothing of driving 6 hours to get here this morning to deliver something or other and was on his way back via Bristol.Cambridge is not as far. Be adventerous and enjoy it! [/quote]

Nick, Fi and I will be at Oxford, Paul.
A meet up sounds good. There are plenty of pubs near the theatre but I would recommend the Far From The Madding Crowd, which is just round the corner. Any thoughts on time?
Sandra
Sounds like a good 'un, Sandra. how about 6 pm? (like B'ham last year...)

Hello Only just found this thread, I should be coming to the oxford one, but first I've got to contact my aunt to see if she is coming. Whether she & my uncle come or not please count me in for the warm up at the pub! Vikki xx

Looks like we'll be the only Talkawhilers at Burnley then, unless Sir Bob will be putting in an appearance in the Royal Box that is. It's on Valentine's Day as well - Mustn't be very romantic in Burnley!!! Cheers Dunc

I'm going to be at the Burnley show (hopefully, no tickets or a babysitter yet!) Unfortunately, Burnley has never struck me as being one of the most romantic places in the world, but I'm sure Fairport will be able to spread a little love! If I can manage it I'd like to get to the Blackpool gig too.

Anvil in Basingstoke for me and her..... Wish it wasn't all seated - makes for a slightly formal evening (and you can't take beer in). RT mentioned this last week and said what fun it was to make old people stand for two and a half hours! The Anvil is very flexible and can be set up to have standing and seating - but not this Friday methinks...

And thanks for the recommendations of where to go for refreshments etc. My only gripe is the cost of travelling to Cambridge and having to stay over. However, for FC........well, it's got to be worth it GF
