Croydon tomorrow.
I might be too late to see PJ, because I´ll arrive at Stansted at 18.30. So fingers crossed that my bag will not be the last one at the baggage reclaim as usually  Tiara

At least the new timetable gives you a fast train every 15 mins on the quarter hours.  Good luck.

Bloody hell, you're keen, Chris!  Smiley Might be £10 but it's about five hours each way isn't it? (remember all too well from the epic treks to Cropredy).

Got a ticket but it's a bit touch & go - resting on persuading my lift that we really don't need to leave two hours beforehand but can wait til about quarter to seven to let me watch most of the rugby.

I shall look out for you, Sir Bob.  Long blond hair, a frock and a beret... you shouldn't be too hard to miss.
I'll inform the bar staff to put the champagne on ice.

WORTHING Tuesday 28th February!

I've finally got my dear wife Jane to come with me this year - perhaps she thinks she's missing something and wants a 'peek' into what draws me to a muddy field in Oxfordshire each August!

 Grin

Just booked my ticket for Worthing.

Anyone else?

I've managed to persuade my parents to get tickets for Worthing (Can't go myself) They've been toying with the idea for a while but Mum was worried about not fitting in, being too old, that sort of thing! So, if you see a couple of people who don't fit in with the crowd and look too old.....  Wink

Too old!!!! you're never too old!!!

At Cropredy in 2004 we were sitting near a chap on his own who must have been well into his 70's and he seemed to fit perfectly.

I'll be at Worthing. Tell your Mum to wave at the fat woman in the front row. If it's me I'll wave back!

Oxford on Sunday.

I suggest that we all meet in the Far From The Madding Crowd which is just around the corner from the Playhouse. Modern pub but with a good range of real ales and wines. One of my 'locals'. (map at http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=451000&Y=206500&width=500&height=300&gride=451140&gridn=206443&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=pc&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=OX12BY&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&keepicon=true&zm=1&scale=5000).

Alternatively we could make for the bar in the Randolph Hotel (take out your mortgage now), or one of the student pubs.

What do you think?

Sandra
