Celtic Connections programme on BBC4 tonight. TV listing mentions RT and Eliza Carthy. Maybe Fairport next week, I wonder?

I enjoyed the programme but missed bits of it (due to my in laws talking - sacrilege!). I wonder why RT was the only performer in the programme not performing to a live audience. He appeared to be singing on his own in a church.
I love BBC4 on Friday nights now

Saw Eliza with her Ratcatchers last night on Celtic Connections -  dont know where they were performing but they looked extremely hot! It appeared to be some underground cavern?

Eliza and the Old Blind Dogs footage was from the Arches.  It's a venue under Central Railway Station and is usually a night club.  It is usually VERY hot.

I was at Fairport and SoH.  Unfortunately, no film crews in evidence.

There's too much on to film everything. Someone was bound to be disappointed.

well considering some of the dross on television I would have thought there was space for some quality  Smiley
But I take your point Chris
