gosh i'm glad this thread exists, i'm getting SO excited about the summer now and all the festies!

glo sticks - they gotta have glo sticks!
and bubbles.
and wet wipes (no matter wahat their age).
and a little backpack to carry all their sh*t about in so you dont have to!
and waterproofs.
and a book and a pack of cards and some paper and pens (for when its raining in the morning and you are all tent-bound).
and a disposable camera of their own.
and an address book to keep track of all the new friends they make.

this is the lesser spotted small in her natural environment, last year at crop.
there are some of george, but all with her friend and i dont wana post pics of someone else's kids.!

Son Jack spent many happy hours at that stall too, he said he chatted to chris leslie there! We have one of those puppets dangling from our stairs

Thanks to everyone for all your comments..  its good to hear about all your good experiences and suggestions.

If I do bring my kids I'd like to meet up with anyone who has other youngish kids - mine would get on better if there were some 'old hands' to show them the ropes to start with.
