Been thinking about the Peggy and PJ project and realise how much I am looking forward to seeing the show. It got me thinking what other duos would I like to see including one FC member and one friend of the band.
A combination that I think would have been great, andf who knows it could stil happen, is:
Swarb and John Kirkpatrick, I think they could have been a precursor to Spiers and Boden with the fiddle/squeezebox axis.
Any other ideas?

Chris and Tom Leary. Especially if Tom was persuaded to play guitar as well as fiddle. Jules

Simon Nicol and Beryl Marriott - check out The False Knight on the Road on Simon's Consonant Please Carol. A whole evening of similar things would be fun.

Peggy and PJ have just finished an interview for the Brolly. Very jolly it is too. They're really looking forward to the Scottish gigs, following a blinder at Rugby Roots.
Cheers,
Jules

Ric & Gordon Giltrap was/were a good pairing.
Chris & Simon Mayor (or Hilary James)
Peggy & Rick Kemp for all you budding bassists out there
I'd like to hear Ric jazzing it up with a good keyboard player - Huw Warren, maybe.
Peggy & Maart - lots of multi-instrumental possibilities there...
