There was a dreadful time once, not long ago, when the whole board was flooded with cheese. It was so awful, that I can't for the life of me remember much about it........... Anyway, as a result cheese became a word no-one could write............... Jude

I attended Cropredy alone for 4 or 5 years in the mid 90's. You never really feel alone.......

Has anybody yet mentioned that a male wearing a fez or a female wearing a tiara is likely to be a member of the board and probably friendly?

They hadn't - but that's very useful information, thank you... especially as I would be inclined to assume under normal circumstances that random people walking around in fezzes and tiaras should not be approached. But I guess Cropredy just ain't 'normal circumstances', is it?

Having established your tent on Thursday morning, celebrated its e***tion with a glass, make your way to the Sports Pavilion by the cricket pitch where Hook Norton is sold and, around noon, there will be many fezzes on view. Not mine, but I wouldn't want to get a ring of sunburn, I would rather have overall skull coverage (see avatar - that's a photo to you newcomers)

Should you feel the need, and it's not compulsary!, to join in the general tiara wearing, there are more here than you can shake a fairy wand at: http://www.josee.co.uk/cnb/shop/josee?op=catalogue-products-null?title=TIARAS&prodCategoryID=9 (I wouldn't go past page 2 as the prices start to get large... ) Cheers Fi

Now really.... if I had £820,000 to throw about do you think I would be sitting at work whiling away the long dull hours by posting here to the background hum of W**** C** commentary (sigh zzzzzzzzzzzzzz) from across the office No! I would in fact be sitting on the terrace of my newly purchased house in the Alpujarras (Andalusia) whiling away the hours drinking Rioja and scoffing olives (in a cheap tiara).... Cheers Fi

Jess If you let me know your favourite colour I'm sure I can knock you up a Tiara. They aren't that expensive/hard to make & having done a few others I'm quite good at them now Vikki xx

I BET IF FI HAD 820,000 QUID she'd be buying melodeons! Oh don't...it's a terrible affliction. I am now wanting a Trikitixa (Basque style melodeon) as well...(the basses are different). I do have shoes to match my Hohner Pokerwork you know.... . NOW That's what I need! a Black and Gold Tiara! (Vikki?...Vikki?...now, don't run away....! have you any spare time...?) Cheers Fi
