There will be no more L'Héritage des Celtes gigs. Dan will still play with friends. Nothing to do with Excalibur II

Not a bad idea, but, PLEASE, not Jethro Tull again. I love their music, but their live performances are just so.....whats the word?.........decrepit these days
Tull? Decrepit? Never!!!!! I'd love to see Tull again!! Tull, Levellers, Horslips, SftBH, we're talking Line up from Heaven now mIc

SftBH, Duncan McFarlane Band, Cave and Leatherats all make it onto my wish for Cropredy "newbies". Shows of Hands, Little Johnny England and ColvinQuarmby, for the "old-hands". So I was told yesterday, by a man walking his dogs, The Mighty Firebirds are already booked for 2007. Jules

Mighty Firebirds? I seem to remember them being ok but not worthy of a repeat. How does this happen when there are so many other bands who would do anything for an appearance?!

Has anyone suggested an acoustic Mike Peters for the pre-Fairport slot on Saturday yet?
There seemed to be a few Alarm t-shirts around at Cropredy, and I was 'accosted' a couple of times by Alarm fans on Thursday whilst wearing my 45prm t-shirt!

Dream nights for me. . .
Thursday night - Oysterband Friday Night - Jethro Tull Saturday - Show of Hands, followed by a very long Fairport set, including guest appearances by Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, James Taylor and Robert Plant.
Then I could die happy.

Uiscedwr, Isambarde, Tim van Eyken.
That's about as good as it gets for fresh, innovative young talent, all intent on giving the tradition a good shaking.
Has Karine Polwart ever played Croppers?

But for those of us who didn't have the chance to see them in their heyday it is still lovely – though do take your point. (In fact I had a friend who loved them and could've easily seen them 10 years before I ever did so all my own fault)
Some new bands would be nice too in the afternoons...

Oh just the usual suggestions, The Paperboys, Spirit of the West, Cornell Hurd...here's a thing though, why not combine the retro seventies vibe with the prog sensibilities and have The Sensational Alex Harvey Band fronted by Fish-out-of-Marillion?
