As everyone else seems to be having a go: Thursday: Nic Jones (he might be persuaded, he's got a new CD coming out) Savoy Brown (with excellent guitarist Kim Simmonds - yes they are still going) Bagad Kemper (in the absence of Heritage des Celtes the next best thing) Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation (saw them in Bordeaux and they were brilliant) Friday: John Tams Mara! (last at Cropredy in 1987, so a 20th anniversary appearance) Steve Gibbons Band (not the Dylan Project, but the original SGB, who were great live) Richard Thompson Band Saturday: Pentangle (fully re-formed) Richie Havens (would be great to see live) Bellowhead Fairport Convention. The great thing is that this line-up could actually happen! I have already bought a lottery ticket for Saturday, so could be on the 'phone to agents Monday morning.  KeithP |

Oh no it couldn't. Unfortunately. There's precisely NO chance of getting Danny playing with Pentangle again. And I doubt Terry has even got a drum kit any more.... |

Headlines: Runrig, Waterboys, Levellers (here we go again...), umm - you'd need a 4-day festival mind...
Others I'd like to see wherever/whenever...
Isambarde; Kate Rusby; Nickel Creek; Capercaillie; Christy Moore - not seen him live and just discovering his poetry; wouldn't mind Tull back, but it may be a bit soon; June Tabor? Only know one song but that's pretty good; Dixie Chicks; Hayseed Dixie; too many more to even remember...

Good suggestions Mobes... Saw Leo Kottke at the Union Chapel a few years ago and he was awesome Doc Watson... if only ! - and to top that billing off how about Leon Hunt supporting him - now THAT would be something |

He never seems to tour outside the US (although he tours pretty much constantly over there) He was responsible for me learning to play guitar and has had a massive influence on my playing. I played Stealing and Fisherman at a local open mic night a few months back and it went down a storm. If you ever hear of him playing over here (or in Europe) please let me know - I'd be heartbroken to hear that he'd played here and I'd missed him. Doc Watson and Leon Hunt - If only, indeed! Tommy Emmanuel and Buster B Jones are two others I would love to see a Cropredy. There's always the chance that Tommy would play - His daughter lives over here and he spends a lot of time in the UK. I don't think I've ever seen a performer enjoy himself onstage quite as much as him. Time to bombard Peggy with requests methinks!  . |

I quite like the idea of a whole day of 'looking to the future' type stuff, just bought the new CD by 'The Devil's Interval' blimey there certainly is a LOAD of great new talent out there. Tim Van Eyken's CD is excellent (As I have already said) and with Oliver Knight on guitar it has that rocking edge some of us crave!
