And thanks for the final item - if sign language interpreters are provided, please position them away from the stage as they can be a distraction. Not as much a distraction as all the people in front of the stage shouting "get off you dull old hippies", surely? |

Sandalfoot, I also have a weakness for Blackmore's Night, despite the fact that they occassionally slip into (unintentional?) parody and end up sounding like Balkan Eurovision entries of yesteryear. I imagine they would be too expensive for Cropredy though. Since I saw them a few years back (in Reading Town Hall!) they seem to play only in German castles. Start building the backdrop now...
Bellowhead were excellent at WOMAD this year. Not sure about some of their material, but they are very entertaining.

At this year's Beautiful Days, the Levellers announced a Masked Ball and asked everyone to wear a mask for their final set. Pretty much everyone did. It was quite an amazing sight!  So anything's possible... Cheers Nick |

The SPOOKEY MENS CHORALE I saw these guys four times at Towersey and they are extremeley talanted and excruciatingly funny in a testosterone loaded way...line from one of their songs.. " We are the spooky men
